Connie, an aging photographer, meets Harper, who's headed for Harvard Law School from a high-powered San Francisco family. He notices her potential, but he also sees her beauty, inviting her to be his pupil and to share his bed. When she realizes she's only the latest in a string of ingenues, she bolts, but cannot resist returning.
