Synopsis
After World War II ended, the Greatest Generation returned home to great fanfare. But to many, the return was bittersweet. Ex-sergeant, Al Stephenson, came home to a family that had grown up without him, former bombardier, Fred Derry, returned to a loveless marriage, and sailor, Homer Parrish's life changed drastically with the loss of his hands. Now each soldier must adjust to life after the war.
