Synopsis

Loudmouth factory-town girl Stella snares upper-class beau Stephen Dallas, but after their first child is born, he is offered a job he can't refuse in New York. Knowing she'll never fit in in the Big Apple, Stella stays home and keeps her daughter with her. But as her daughter grows older and is shunned by the town because of her abrasive single mother, she makes a selfless sacrifice and sends the girl to live with her father and his new family in New York.
