Synopsis

In the Ming Dynasty, Tong Pak Fu is a famous scholar in Suzhou with a house of eight wives, all of whom are gambling addicts who couldn’t care less about Tong. On a feast day, Tong and his friends visit the temple where Tong meets Chou Heung. Disguising himself as a houseboy, he indentures himself to a rich family in order to pursue the ravishing servant girl who has stolen his heart.
