Synopsis
Jim Warlock has always been conservative in his public, professional, and personal lives, but when his wife leaves town for a few days and Jim meets sales clerk Doris, he unexpectedly engages in a passionate affair. After coming to his senses and breaking it off, young Doris commits suicide and criminal charges are filed against Jim, leading to a national scandal that will change Jim and his wife forever.
